Brilliant new food and menu for Southall’s The Plough pub

Head-chef and owner of Southall’s much acclaimed Brilliant Restaurant, Dipna Anand has taken over the kitchen at Southall’s iconic pub The Plough in Norwood Green.

Ms Anand, who lives close to the pub which dates back to 1349, says she is “thrilled to bring my passion for authentic, hearty food to Norwood Green”.

The Grade II listed pub was originally built as a small in when the Black Death plague gripped the area which was known as Norwude.

Ms Anand said: “I’m thrilled to bring my passion for authentic, hearty food to Norwood Green. The Plough has always been a special part of this community and to my family – we live just around the corner.”

Ms Anand added: “Our goal is to create a welcoming space for friends and families where they can gather, enjoy a drink, and share good food in a setting that feels like home.”

The eclectic menu features British fayre including fish and chips and sausage and mash as well as Indian-inspired classics such as tandoori chicken tikka and chana masala.

The pub will also continue with its themed nights and will also be offering a Christmas menu from 27 November 2024 to 24 December 2024.
