Ealing’s University of West London has appointed Dr Richard Courtney as the new Dean of its Claude Littner Business School.
He joins UWL after more than 20 years in higher education and was previously head of business, entrepreneurship and finance at the University of East London.
Dr Courtney has taught subjects including leadership, entrepreneurship and business strategy, while his research interests have ranged from social class and ethnicity to accent prejudice.
Speaking about his appointment, Dr Courtney said: “I am delighted to join the University of West London as Dean of the Claude Littner Business School.
“Higher education can open doors, build confidence and create opportunities, and I am committed to helping students from all backgrounds fulfil their potential.”
