Six-year criminal behaviour order for Hanwell offender

A six-year criminal behaviour order (CBO) has been given against a prolific offender accused of persistent shoplifting, violence, parcel thefts and drug-related anti-social behaviour across Hanwell and West Ealing.

Metropolitan Police officers from the Hanwell Broadway Safer Neighbourhoods Team obtained the order against Alisse Giles after submitting an 84-page evidence bundle to Uxbridge magistrates’ court. Giles did not attend the hearing and the order was granted in her absence. Police said she will be served with the order when located.

The Metropolitan Police said Giles’ offending throughout 2025 had significantly affected residents and businesses in the area.

The order imposes 14 conditions designed to restrict her activities and prevent further offending. These include a large exclusion zone covering Hanwell Broadway and Walpole Park, restrictions on entering specific shops including Boots, Sainsbury’s, Greggs and the British Heart Foundation charity shop, and a ban on approaching 25 Uxbridge Road in Hanwell.

Other conditions prohibit consuming alcohol in public places, carrying drug-taking paraphernalia, associating with named individuals and possessing parcels not addressed to her.

Police said the order also requires Giles to leave premises when asked and to stop for officers when directed.

A police spokesperson said: “We know how much impact persistent offenders have on residents and local businesses. This CBO is a major step in safeguarding the community and shows our commitment to tackling the behaviours causing the most harm.”

Police said the order aims to protect local businesses and reduce repeat offending.

Anyone with information about similar activity should call Metropolitan Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
