Metropolitan Police have arrested a man and seized drugs and cash following a warrant carried out at a hostel in East Acton that provides accommodation for vulnerable people.
Officers executed a Section 23 Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at the property last month (16 March 2026) after concerns about drug use and dealing were raised by East Acton ward residents.
Staff at the hostel had reported that a service user was suspected of supplying drugs to others on site.
One man was arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A and Class B drugs. Police also recovered a large quantity of cash, estimated at between £10,000 and £12,000, along with mobile devices believed to be linked to drug-related activity.
Gary Pang, a Metropolitan Police community support officer for East Acton ward, said: “One male was arrested for possession of Class A and Class B drugs along with a large quantity of cash. All items were seized, as well as mobile devices as it may be linked to the drug-related activities taking place at this address.”
He added: “We are committed to tackling drug dealing wherever we find it and will continue to act on concerns raised by the community.”
