A prolific offender has been arrested after breaching a court-issued order while sleeping in a bin store at a block of flats near West Ealing station.
Metropolitan Police officers from Ealing Broadway ward were patrolling Dominion House following complaints from residents about drug users sleeping in communal bin sheds. When officers arrived, they found a man asleep in the bin store and identified him as a prolific offender who was in breach of a Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO).
The order had been imposed by a court to restrict the man’s behaviour following previous offences.
Dominion House and the nearby Sinclair House, both close to West Ealing station, have been the focus of complaints from residents about drug-related activity and rough sleeping in communal areas.
Police said patrols in the area would continue as officers respond to residents’ concerns and seek to tackle anti-social behaviour around the buildings.
Posting on Met Engage, PCSO Timothy Tuft, of Ealing Broadway ward, said: “Police patrols will continue in order to deter, detect and resolve drug-related incidents and rough sleeping in the communal areas of residential developments such as Dominion House and Sinclair House.”
