Police appeal following assault at West Ealing station

British Transport Police have released a CCTV image of an individual they wish to identify after a man was assaulted at West Ealing station last month.

The victim was leaving the station at around 7.45pm on 21 May 2026 when the incident happened.

Police said he had just tapped his card at the barriers and was walking through when he became aware of another man following closely behind him. He turned around and challenged him before being punched in the head and then fell to the ground.

Officers are keen to locate the man in the released CCTV image.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 620 of 21 May.

Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
