Metropolitan Police have charged a 50-year-old man with the murder of a 45-year-old women in Perivale.
Mugurel Nica also from Perivale was charged on Saturday (1 March 2025) with murdering Ana Maria Murariu on Friday (28 February 2025) and will appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court on Monday (3 March 2025).
Police along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called to a property on Jubilee Road at 1:40am yesterday (28 February 2025) following reports of a disturbance. Despite best efforts to save Ana Maria, she was pronounced dead at the scene.
A special post-mortem examination will be held in due course.
Detective Inspector Richard Kempshall, from Specialist Crime, said: “We are continuing to support Ana Maria’s family at this difficult time and our thoughts remain with them. We are not actively seeking anyone else in connection with this investigation.”
