CCTV appeal after sex offence on train to Acton Town

Detectives have released CCTV images of a man they want to identify after a woman was allegedly subjected to a sexual offence last month on a Piccadilly line train travelling to Acton Town.

British Transport Police said the incident happened at about 6.45pm on 26 May 2026, on a service travelling from South Kensington to Acton Town.

According to investigators, a man boarded the train at South Kensington and then exposed himself before masturbating in front of passengers, including a woman on board.

The man later left the train at Acton Town station.

Officers have now issued a CCTV image of a man they believe may have information that could assist their enquiries.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact British Transport Police by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40, quoting reference 728 of 26 May.

Information can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
