A 44-year-old man from Acton is among three people arrested after police uncovered cocaine with a street value of more than £2 million during a raid on commercial premises in Hertfordshire.
Officers from Hertfordshire Constabulary’s Serious and Organised Crime team executed a warrant last Thursday (22 May 2025) at a site in Extension Road, Hertford where they seized a substantial quantity of the class A drug in what is being described as a major breakthrough in the fight against regional drug supply.
The operation, carried out under the force’s ongoing initiative Operation Relentless, led to the arrest of the 44-year-old man from Acton, a 59-year-old woman from Hatfield and a 51-year-old man also from Hatfield. All three were taken into custody on suspicion of drug offences.
Hertfordshire police say they are seeking to identify and question further individuals in connection with the investigation.
A spokesperson for Operation Relentless said: “Operation Relentless will pursue anyone involved in drug supply and Hertford residents should be reassured by this significant seizure, knowing those drugs will not make it onto the streets of Hertford and beyond.”
