Local entrepreneurs gather at Ealing Business Club

More than 120 entrepreneurs and business owners across Ealing attended Ealing Business Club’s last breakfast meeting of 2025 (5 December 2025).

The event, hosted and sponsored by Sukh Dhaliwal, sales and marketing director at the DoubleTree by Hilton, near Ealing Common, saw guests meet, mingle and network.

Opening up the morning, Councillor Julian Gallant spoke of the club’s growth, the importance of the connections it helps to build, and the challenges small businesses are facing, alongside the opportunities available in Ealing and across London.

Trisha Stewart, the director of the Ealing Business Club, provided an update on the club’s work, highlighting the behind-the-scenes role it plays in connecting people with opportunities and how it has helped businesses find talent to grow.

The guest speaker, Peter McKenna of WSI Digital Advisors, shared his insights on artificial intelligence and how it is helping his marketing business improve the services it offers. He also offered practical tips on how attendees can make use of AI in their own lives.

In their first public speaking appearance, Jon and Blanche, both in their early twenties, gave an update on their experience with TechStart, a social impact programme that supports young people to gain workplace experience through roles in technology, business and innovation.

Jon and Blanche spoke about the opportunities the programme had opened up for them, from seeing first hand how organisations large and small operate to building practical skills, confidence and resilience that they described as essential both personally and professionally.
