Ealing Broadway shopping centre has announced a week of free and low-cost activities for families during February half term, as schools across London close until 20 February 2026.
The programme includes a free plant giveaway, fairground rides, dining offers and leisure deals aimed at encouraging local families to spend time together without high costs.
Andrew Rollings, the centre director, said: “February half term is always a lively time at Ealing Broadway, and it’s great to be partnering with local independent plant store Greenka once again for our much-loved Plant Giveaway.”
The giveaway will take place outside Tesco on Friday 20 and Saturday 21 February from 11am to 4pm, with 800 free houseplants available while stocks last.
Two fairground rides, including teacups and a train, will run all week in the Town Square at £3 per ride, with 10% of profits donated to Home-Start Ealing.
Several restaurants are also offering free children’s meals with qualifying adult spend.
