Views sought on Southall Broadway loading and parking arrangements

Southall locals and businesses have until Monday (9 November 2026) to tell Ealing Council whether loading bays on Southall Broadway and nearby side streets could be used for more evening customer parking.

The council is reviewing the current loading bay hours after businesses asked whether the spaces could be used for customer parking in the evening. Most of the local loading bays operate from 10am to 8pm, Monday to Saturday, and from 2pm to 8pm on Sundays.

Ealing Council said: “The council have received requests from a number of businesses, to review these loading arrangements to see whether they can be utilised, to provide additional parking for customers in the evening.

“We would like to take this opportunity to hear directly from businesses about their experiences of the current arrangements. We are particularly interested in understanding current loading requirements and whether the existing balance between parking and loading provision is meeting local need.”

The council said it was keen to hear from as many people as possible. It added that “your feedback will help shape any future proposals to improve parking and loading arrangements for businesses and visitors to The Broadway”.

The survey is available on the council’s Have Your Say website.
