Residents and community groups across Ealing’s seven towns of Acton, Ealing, Greenford, Hanwell, Northolt, Perivale and Southall have until 3 December 2026 to apply for grants of up to £15,000 to fund projects in their local areas.
The latest round of Ealing Council’s Your Voice Your Town programme is also open to schools and businesses, with grants available for projects ranging from activities for young people to improvements to high streets and green spaces.
Southall has the largest amount available at £175,000, followed by Ealing with £120,000 and Acton with £80,000.
Funding allocations have changed since the previous round, with Southall receiving an additional £55,000 and Northolt £15,000 more, while Greenford and Perivale have £5,000 and £4,000 less respectively.
Ealing Council told EALING.NEWS that Southall’s increase was mainly due to unspent funding carried forward from last year, while Northolt’s rise followed a project that could not go ahead. The council said £480,000 in new funding is allocated annually, subject to approval, but amounts can vary between towns depending on local priorities and money carried over from previous years.
Each town has its own priorities for the latest round of funding with applications considered by local town teams, made up of residents, businesses, community groups, faith leaders and councillors.
Acton (£80,000): Improving community safety, activities for young people, bringing residents together and improving the local environment.
Ealing (£120,000): Supporting local high streets and businesses, activities for older people and projects that bring communities together.
Greenford (£55,000): Helping young people aged 11 to 18 stay safe and encouraging younger and older residents to take part in activities together.
Hanwell (£40,000): Making streets and public spaces greener and cleaner, bringing residents together and sharing local skills.
Northolt (£55,000): Helping children and young people aged four to 18 learn, develop skills and improve their opportunities.
Perivale (£16,000): Helping people gain skills, build links with businesses and find work.
Southall (£175,000): Improving health, wellbeing and learning opportunities for children and young people, including those with special educational needs up to age 25.
Since Your Voice Your Town was launched last year, 77 projects have received funding across the borough. These include a walking group in Northolt, work to create a nature reserve in Greenford and support for Hanwell Carnival.
Councillor Lauren Wall, Ealing Council’s cabinet member for thriving communities, said: “Your Voice Your Town is built on a simple idea: local people know their communities best.”
She added: “We want to build on that by helping even more local people bring their ideas to life and make a positive difference where they live.”
Applications close at 1pm on 3 December 2026 and more details of how to apply are available through Ealing Council’s Your Voice Your Town website.
