Greener Ealing has won a national award for its work supporting the health and wellbeing of frontline staff in its parking enforcement operation.
The Ealing Council-owned company collected the Wellbeing Award at the British Parking Awards 2026, which took place earlier this month (18 September 2026). It had also been shortlisted in the Parking in Action category, which it did not win.
It was the second year running that Greener Ealing had been shortlisted in two categories at the awards.
Greener Ealing began running parking enforcement across the borough on 1 April 2024, when Ealing Council transferred the service from private contractor Serco to its in-house owned company.
The Wellbeing Award recognises work to improve the physical and mental health of people working in the parking sector.
Greener Ealing’s entry highlighted measures introduced to support staff, including free confidential health check stations and personal testing kits for prostate and bowel cancer, as well as support for female employees going through the menopause.
