Ealing’s Questors Theatre is bringing its comedy festival back in November following its debut earlier this year.
Ed Byrne, Marcus Brigstocke, Shazia Mirza, Sally-Anne Hayward and Dominic Holland will appear at the three-night Questors Comedy Festival from 2 to 4 November 2026.
Also returning to the Ealing theatre is comedian, writer and actor Hal Cruttenden, who grew up nearby and began performing at The Questors as a child.
Mr Cruttenden said: “I grew up a short walk from The Questors Theatre. It was where I first saw a play and where I first acted at the age of three.
“Only the lucky few encounter somewhere as special as Questors; an amateur theatre producing work of a professional standard.”
The festival follows the first Questors Comedy Festival in April 2026, which formed part of the theatre’s fundraising campaign to replace the roof over its Studio theatre and rehearsal rooms.
Work on the first phase of the roof project has now started and is due to be completed this autumn, with further work planned for next summer.
Questors chairman Simon Rudkin said: “After the success of our first Questors Comedy Festival in April, we are delighted to bring some of the UK’s best comedians to Ealing once again. We hope that audiences will enjoy the chance to see big names up close in our Playhouse theatre at affordable prices.”
The festival comes as The Questors has been named a finalist in the Great Amateur Theatre category at the Great British Theatres Awards. The winners are due to be announced on 2 November, the opening night of the festival.
