Around 75 wraps of suspected Class A drugs including heroin and crack cocaine were seized in two arrests in West Ealing last week, the Metropolitan Police has said.
Officers also recovered more than £700 in cash during the two separate incidents.
Officers from the Hanwell Broadway & Walpole Safer Neighbourhood Team stopped a man outside St John’s Church in Mattock Lane last Thursday (3 September 2026) and recovered cannabis, 25 wraps of suspected Class A drugs and more than £500 in cash.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and has since been released on bail while enquiries continue.
Two days earlier, on Tuesday (1 September 2026), officers from the Ealing Broadway Safer Neighbourhood Team stopped and searched a man near Hyde House in Singapore Road, recovering around 50 wraps of Class A drugs and more than £200 in cash.
He was charged by police with possession with intent to supply heroin and crack cocaine and failing to comply with a Community Protection Notice, and was remanded in custody.
Posting on Met Engage, Sergeant Naeem Fazal, of the Hanwell Broadway & North Hanwell team, said: “These arrests demonstrate the continued commitment of Ealing’s Safer Neighbourhood Teams to tackling drug-related crime, acting on community intelligence, and targeting those involved in the supply of illegal drugs.”
