Four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackled a grass fire on Monday (24 August 2026) which damaged about a hectare of land near Rectory Park in Northolt.
London Fire Brigade said grass and trees were damaged in the blaze. There were no reports of any injuries.
The brigade’s control officers received 23 calls about the fire, with the first coming in at 2.44pm.
Crews from Northolt, Southall and Ruislip fire stations were sent to the scene and had extinguished the fire by 4.03pm.
London Fire Brigade has not said what caused the blaze.
