Students at Notting Hill & Ealing High School are celebrating today (13 August 2026) after almost two-thirds of A-level entries were awarded A* or A.
Of the 75 students receiving results at the independent girls’ school in Ealing, 22% of entries achieved an A*, 64% were A*-A and 90% were A*-B.
Nearly half of the cohort achieved AAA or better, while 45% received at least one A*.
Art and Design, Ancient Greek and Mandarin recorded 100% A* grades, while all grades in Further Maths, Drama, Latin, Spanish and Religious Studies were A* or A.
A*-A grades accounted for 79% of History results and 78% in both Economics and Classical and Modern Languages. Across STEM subjects, 28% of grades were A*, with almost a third of Biology students achieving the top grade.
Students have secured places at universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, UCL, Durham, Leeds, Newcastle and Bristol.
Head Girl Olivia Fanthorpe-Collings is heading to the University of Sheffield to study Biomedical Engineering.
She said: “NHEHS has given me the confidence to pursue Biomedical Engineering, and I’m really excited to take the next step at Sheffield.”
Head Allison Saunders said: “This cohort has impressed me so much with their passion, creativity, and collaborative spirit.”
