Families in Ealing can pick up free primary and secondary school uniforms at ten pop-up events being held in Ealing Broadway, Acton, Southall and West Ealing later this month (August 2026), ahead of pupils returning to school in September.
Donated branded and unbranded items will be available free of charge, including shirts, skirts, trousers, jumpers, sportswear, footwear and school bags.
The pop-ups will take place at:
- 17 August 2026, ReActon, Acton, 11am–2pm
- 18–20 August 2026, Perceval House, Ealing Broadway, 11am–3pm
- 21 August 2026, ReActon, Acton, 11am–2pm
- 24 August 2026, ReActon, Acton, 11am–2pm
- 25 August 2026, Perceval House, Ealing Broadway, 11am–3pm
- 26 August 2026, West Ealing Library, 10am–1pm
- 27 August 2026, Perceval House, Ealing Broadway, 11am–3pm
- 29 August 2026, Southall Manor House, 11am–midday
Since it began in August 2025, the Ealing School Uniform project has supported more than 265 families and redistributed more than 800 items.
Residents can also donate clean, good-quality uniforms their children have outgrown at participating libraries and community venues across Ealing.
School uniform can be donated at:

Councillor Dominic Moffitt, Ealing Council’s cabinet member for climate action, said: “By passing on school uniform that is still in good condition, residents are helping local families with the cost of the new school year while reducing waste.”
Councillor Moffitt added: “I encourage anyone with outgrown uniform at home to donate it, and anyone who would like to pick up free, good-quality school uniform to visit one of our free pop-up hubs this August.”
