Interim CEO announced for Ealing Hospital’s NHS trust

The managing director of Central Middlesex and Ealing hospitals and the Elective Orthopaedic Centre has been appointed interim chief executive of London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH).

Mark Titcomb will take up the role later this summer, replacing Pippa Nightingale, who is leaving the trust at the end of July to become chief executive of Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

Mr Titcomb has held a number of senior leadership positions within the NHS and currently oversees operations at Ealing Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital and the Elective Orthopaedic Centre.

LNWH runs Ealing Hospital, Central Middlesex Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital and St Mark’s Hospital.

Mr Titcomb said: “I’m excited to step into this role at such an important time. We have a superb workforce delivering such great care for our patients and communities every day.”

He added: “We have the chance to really build on that by working together, and by making the most of group opportunities for closer collaboration and shared learning.”
