Residents in North and South Acton are being invited by the Metropolitan Police to help decide what issues local officers and partner agencies should focus on in the coming months.
Sergeant George Zealey, from the Met Police’s North and South Acton policing team, has posted details on the Met Engage platform of a new community survey asking residents to share their views on concerns affecting the area, including crime, anti-social behaviour and environmental issues.
Ward panels are made up of residents, police and partner agencies who meet regularly to discuss local concerns and agree priorities for action.
Residents can complete the survey through the Met Engage website.
Sergeant Zealey said: “The results from this survey will play a crucial role in shaping priorities for the coming months.”
He added: “By sharing your views, you will help the ward panel make informed decisions about where to focus time, resources and problem-solving efforts.”
Police are also encouraging residents to join the ward panel, which works alongside local policing teams and community partners.
Sergeant Zealey said joining the panel was “a great opportunity to get more involved in your local community, have a direct influence on local priorities, and work alongside others to make a positive difference”.
