Applications are now open for bands and musicians hoping to play at next year’s Hanwell Hootie, taking place on Saturday 9 May 2026 – the free community festival that has become one of London’s biggest celebrations of live music.
Founded in 2013 to honour Hanwell’s connection to the legendary Marshall amplifier and its founder Jim Marshall, who died in 2012, the Hootie has grown from a handful of pub gigs into a multi-venue event that draws thousands each spring. Scores of stages across pubs, cafes and outdoor spaces host acts ranging from local newcomers to touring artists, with organisers priding themselves on keeping entry free and inclusive.
Andy McRobbie, director, Hanwell Hootie, told EALING.NEWS: “We are very excited to begin the application process for artists and bands wanting to play the Hootie 2026. Live music is at the heart of the festival, and our ethos has always been to showcase as much young and emerging artists as we can. We can’t wait to get started.”
Applications for Hootie 2026 are now open, with the closing date to apply to perform at Hanwell Hootie set for 30 November 2025. Organisers are encouraging emerging artists from all backgrounds to apply for the chance to perform a 45-minute set on one of the festival’s stages in Hanwell.
Submissions are being managed through the music-industry platform Amplead, where musicians can apply directly to be part of the event.
