A 38-year-old man has been charged with grievous bodily harm (GBH) with intent and possession of an offensive weapon after a teenage girl was stabbed in a street in Northolt.
Emergency services rushed to the scene on Godfrey Avenue shortly after 8pm on Wednesday (16 April 2025), following reports of a stabbing.
Jarah Mashal, 38, of Hindhead Gardens, Northolt, has been charged in connection with the attack. He appeared at Uxbridge Magistrates’ Court on Saturday (19 April 2025), facing charges of grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.
The victim, a teenage girl, was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where her injuries were later assessed as non-life changing.
In a statement, the Metropolitan Police said: “A 38-year-old man has been charged following a reported stabbing. Jarah Mashal, 38 of Hindhead Gardens, Northolt, was charged on Friday, 18 April with grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon. The charge follows a stabbing that reportedly took place in Godfrey Avenue, Northolt on Wednesday, 16 April.”
The Met added that the victim “continues to be supported by officers” and that “the investigation remains on-going”.
