Fire brigade tackle Northolt blaze

A smart gas meter is believed to have been the cause of an accidental fire that saw four fire engines and around 25 firefighters tackle a blaze on Mandeville Road in Northolt on Saturday (29 March 2025) morning.

The incident saw much of an external storage area and a small part of an adjoining office sustaining damaged from the fire. Five people left the building before the London Fire Brigade arrived and there were no reports of any injuries.

Control officers from the London Fire Brigade took the first of eight calls to 999 at 9:51am and crews from Wembley and Northolt fire stations attended. The incident was over for firefighters at 10:59am.
