Hundreds of graduate students from Ealing’s University of West London (UWL) have celebrated their academic success with graduation ceremonies taking place on Tuesday (3 December 2024) and Wednesday (4 December 2024) at Twickenham Stadium.
The graduates, who were joined by family and friends, received their degrees from UWL’s academic departments which included London Geller College of Hospitality and Tourism, The Claude Littner Business School, School of Law, School of Computing and Engineering, School of Human and Social Sciences, College of Nursing, Midwifery and Healthcare, Institute for Policing Studies, School of Medicine and Biosciences, London College of Music, Drama Studio London and London School of Film, Media and Design.
Professor Anthony Woodman, provost and senior deputy vice-chancellor of UWL told those who graduated: “The partnership that you make with UWL is forever and we cannot wait to see the remarkable things you go on and do. Good luck and congratulations.”
As well as students celebrating, seven honorary degrees were also given out to people from the worlds of hospitality, business, nursing, law, music, acting and public health.
Among those given an honorary degree was head-chef and owner of Southall’s much acclaimed Brilliant Restaurant Dipna Anand.
