Notting Hill & Ealing High School flexes for students

Notting Hill & Ealing High School (NHEHS) has welcomed 14 students from the Kyiv region of Ukraine who are joining the school for the next two weeks as part of the ‘Future Leaders Exchange Programme (FLEX)’.

The FLEX programme is run by UKUATogether (UKUAT), a charity that seeks to foster connections between the UK and Ukraine and is part of their current work to help Ukraine by nurturing its future leaders.

As part of the two week initiative, students will experience lessons and workshops across a range of subjects at NHEHS including psychology, geography, enterprise and economics, Mandarin, robotics and science, as well as art and music.

The young students will also visit Wizz Air, meet with organisations such as UCL and Google and UCL and visit Parliament, Lords Cricket Ground and the Tower of London.

The students are being hosted by local NHEHS families during their visit.

Matthew Shoults, headmaster at NHEHS, said: “We are delighted to be hosting these exceptional students and sharing our knowledge and teaching with them. We have a strong record of partnership work and are proud to be extending this to the Ukrainian leaders of the future and helping foster UK-Ukraine relationships.”
