Ealing Trailfinders players offer free rugby coaching for children

Children will have the chance to train with Ealing Trailfinders players during free rugby coaching sessions at Ealing Broadway shopping centre this summer.

The sessions will take place every Friday until 21 August 2026, from 12pm to 2.45pm, outside Tesco Express, with children of all ages and abilities invited to take part.

Players from the club’s men’s and women’s teams, including Flo Long, Matt Cornish and Max Nagy, will lead the sessions, helping youngsters learn rugby skills and techniques. Bella the Bear, the club’s mascot, will also be making appearances.

Ealing Trailfinders Women player Flo Long said: “It’s so important that we encourage children to get involved in sports and make sure they have accessible routes into activities like rugby. That’s why I’m so pleased to be involved in this initiative, helping to bring the local community together and making sure kids stay active over the summer holidays.”

The rugby coaching is part of Ealing Broadway’s programme of free summer holiday activities. Other events include Saturday sports sessions, football challenges and a beach-themed play area with a giant sandpit.
