Ealing Half Marathon seeks volunteers for race weekend

Organisers of the Ealing Half Marathon are calling on Ealing residents, community groups and businesses to volunteer at this year’s race weekend in September.

The annual event, now in its 14th year, will return on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September 2026 with the Ealing Mini Mile and the half marathon taking place across the weekend.

Volunteers are being sought for roles including course marshals, water station teams, registration support and start and finish line assistance.

Organisers said thousands of runners are expected to take part in the 13.1-mile race through Ealing.

Sandra Courtney, founder and event director of Ealing Half Marathon, said: “Our volunteers are absolutely everything to these events. Without them, there is no race weekend.”

She added that volunteers help create the “#EalingFeeling” atmosphere the event has become known for since launching in 2012.

Everyone who volunteers during the weekend will receive a free entry for the 2027 race, organisers said.
