More than 8,000 runners took part in a weekend of running events in Ealing, which included the half marathon, 5k and Mini Mile.
Local athletics clubs claimed both the men’s and women’s titles in Sunday’s (27 September 2026) Wizz Air Ealing Half Marathon.
Oliver Way, of Ealing, Southall & Middlesex AC, won the men’s race in 1:07:48. George Grassly, of Belgrave Harriers, finished second in 1:08:27, with Daniel Krasucki O’Dowd third in 1:09:26.
Ealing Eagles Running Club’s Alice Braham won the women’s race in 1:17:24, improving on her winning time from last year. Juliet Kose finished second in 1:24:27, with Chloe Parsons third in 1:25:00.
The weekend began with the Trailfinders Ealing Mini Mile on Saturday (26 September 2026), followed by the Ealing Half Marathon and Ealing Feeling 5k on Sunday (27 September 2026).
Established in 2012 as a legacy of the London Olympic and Paralympic Games, the Ealing Half Marathon has become an annual fixture in the borough.
Runners taking part across the weekend raised more than £100,000 for local and national charities, including Meadow House Hospice and Shooting Star Children’s Hospices.
Walpole Park hosted the race village throughout the weekend, with live music, food stalls and entertainment.
Event director Sandra Courtney said: “Every year this weekend shows what Ealing is made of. Congratulations to Oliver and Alice, and to every single runner who crossed a finish line, from our youngest Mini Milers to our half marathoners.
“But the real stars are the residents, volunteers and partners who turn out for us year after year. Thank you all for making this weekend so special.”
Next year’s Ealing Half Marathon is due to take place on Sunday, 26 September 2027.
