Students reunited at Villiers High School after more than 40 years

A group of 40 alumni from the Class of 1977-83 at Villiers High School in Southall have reunited at the school for the first time in over 40 years.

The group, who visited the school earlier this month (13 March 2025), were welcomed back in the sixth form centre where there was an exhibition of old photos of the school along with previous year books and copies of ‘Recess’ the former school magazine.

A tour of the school was hosted by the current sixth form students and Bittu Kochar, the lead contact in helping to organise the event said: “it was wonderful coming back to VHS”

As well as reconnecting with their old teachers and fellow students, the alumni also met up with new members of staff including headteacher Mr C Richards.

The group shared their experiences with the Villiers students and how they went on to various careers including becoming police officers, human rights campaigners and entering the legal profession.
