Santa Claus and his sleigh, along with reindeer, have returned to Ealing after Vanguard Self Storage hoisted its annual festive display on to the roof of its West London site on the A40 between Perivale and Hanger Lane.
The A40 installation has become a familiar December marker for drivers heading into and out of the capital. Vanguard said the figure measures about 6 metres long, 2.6 metres wide and 3.5 metres tall, and weighs about 1.5 tonnes.
Kelly, the branch manager at Vanguard Self Storage West London, said: “Santa’s rooftop display is one of my personal favourites and is very popular amongst the locals. Every year, as the Christmas season approaches, we get numerous phone calls asking when he’ll be going up on the roof. It’s wonderful to see how much joy it brings to the community.”
