Northolt’s haunted house is back for Halloween

Northolt’s homemade house of horrors is back this Halloween, promising more scares, surprises and community spirit on Friday (31 October 2025)

The much-loved local attraction will run from 4.45pm until 9pm where organisers say visitors should be “prepared for the unexpected.”

The Haunted House on Kempton Avenue, UB5 4HF  has become something of a Northolt tradition. Created by residents Jason and Lisa Cole, the attraction transforms their family home into a walk-through fright fest that draws hundreds of visitors each year and raises money for charity.

As in previous years, proceeds will go to Meadow House Hospice in Ealing, in memory of Mr Cole’s mother, who died in 2023 after a six-year battle with cancer.

This year’s spooky event opens at 4.45pm with a mob dance by the Hillingdon Theatre Dance Centre, performed to an original track, The House on Kempton Avenue. Inside, visitors can expect new lighting, sound and special effects – and organisers have revealed that “things are not all as they seem.”

Outside, stalls will feature DanAmara Jewellery & Crystals, Maggie’s face painting, and the return of the Candy Witch serving light-up candyfloss, popcorn and poisoned toffee apples. Radio Harrow will broadcast live, with a photographer capturing every scream.
