A new night bus route serving parts of Northolt, Sudbury Hill and Ruislip will start on Saturday (17 January 2026), Transport for London has confirmed.
The N118 will operate between Trafalgar Square and Ruislip Station, providing a seven night a week overnight connection to and from central London. TfL said the route is designed to improve late night transport options for areas with more limited night bus coverage.
TfL said the N118 will run every 30 minutes on Sunday to Thursday nights, with a more frequent service every 15 minutes on Friday and Saturday nights.

From Trafalgar Square, the N118 will follow the existing N18 route as far as Sudbury and Harrow Road station, serving all the same stops as the N18. It will then continue via Harrow Road and Greenford Road, serving Sudbury Hill Harrow station, Whitton Avenue West, Sheridan Terrace, Pett’s Hill and Alexandra Avenue.
The route will also serve Eastcote Lane and Victoria Road, providing night time access to both South Ruislip and Ruislip Manor stations, before continuing along Pembroke Road to Ruislip Station Approach.
Speaking to EALING.NEWS, London Assembly Member for Ealing and Hillingdon, Bassam Mahfouz said: “Reliable night-time travel is vital for shift workers and anyone traveling late, and this service will help people get home safety and affordably.”
Mr Mahfouz added: “By providing a direct connection into central London, it also offers a safe and practical option for those travelling at night, including after an evening out. This means that residents of these parts of Northolt and Ruislip are no longer left behind when it comes to accessing late night transport into the City.”
