The body of a man has been found in the River Brent by Green Lane/Hanwell Lock in Hanwell near to The Fox pub.
Metropolitan Police have said they were called today (14 June 2024) at 3.13pm to reports of a body being seen in the water.
In a statement, a Met Police spokesperson said: “On police arrival, a body was discovered and subsequently recovered from the water. The male was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene.”
They added: “Efforts are being made to ascertain the male’s next of kin and an investigation is ongoing. A cordon is currently in place at the location.”
