FREENOW rolls out Voi e-bikes in Ealing

Residents and commuters in Ealing now have an additional way to get around the borough as mobility platform FREENOW launches Voi e-bikes on its app, part of a wider rollout across the capital.

The partnership aims to give residents and visitors more sustainable travel choices by adding lightweight, easy-to-use e-bikes to the borough’s streets.

Users in Ealing can now access Voi’s latest models directly through the FREENOW app, alongside existing transport options including private hire vehicles and e-scooters. The newly introduced bikes, which launched in Ealing in May 2025, include the Explorer Light 1 – which is claimed to be 25% lighter than standard models for improved accessibility – and the Explorer 4, which offers a larger front basket and an adjustable saddle.

According to FREENOW, it costs 18p per minute through its platform to use the Voi e-bikes in the borough.

Danny O’Gorman, UK general manager at FREENOW, said: “Adding Voi’s latest e-bikes to our platform in London is a great way to give users even smarter, greener ways to move. We’re also excited to offer the widest choice of mobility options in one app.”

James Bolton, general manager for Voi UK, added: “By continuing our partnership with FREENOW, we’re making our newest, lightweight, easier-to-handle e-bikes available to more customers.”
