Two Wetherspoon pubs in Ealing have been included in CAMRA’s Good Beer Guide 2027.
The Red Lion & Pineapple in High Street, Acton, and The Sir Michael Balcon in The Mall, Ealing Broadway, have both been selected for the latest edition of the annual guide, published today (24 September 2026).
The pubs were chosen by local members of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), who made regular visits to assess the quality of the real ales being served.
Customer service, decor and the overall atmosphere of the pubs were also taken into account.
A CAMRA spokesperson said: “The pubs deserve their place in The Good Beer Guide 2027.”
Alessandro Piano, manager of The Red Lion & Pineapple, said: “I am delighted that the pub has been recognised for the quality of its real ales by CAMRA members.Staff at the pub work hard to ensure that the real ales on offer are kept in first-class condition at all times and the pub’s inclusion in the guide highlights this.”
The Good Beer Guide is published annually by CAMRA and features pubs across the UK selected by its members.
