Ealing law firm recognised for its criminal practice work

A law firm with offices in Hammersmith and Ealing has made it to the Legal 500 UK 2025 Guide for its criminal practice.

Berris Law, which specialises in criminal, family, mental health and extradition law, was recognised for how it represents clients charged for a range of crimes including murder, drug offences and terrorism.

The defence crime team at the firm is run by Seema Dosaj and Julian Hayes and said it continues to offer legal aid funded representation.

Senior partner at Berris Law, Julian Hayes said: “We are delighted to have been recognised in the Legal 500 for our criminal work. It is testament to our hard-working team of passionate lawyers who work tirelessly to receive justice for our clients.”

Mr Hayes added: “The cuts to legal aid and the lack of funding in the area has meant that many firms can no longer offer this support. We are proud to be one of the minority still putting access to justice at the forefront of the judicial system.”
