Notting Hill & Ealing High School (NHEHS) has been named among the top girls’ cricket schools in the country for the fourth consecutive year.
The school secured a place in The Cricketer Magazine’s Top 20 All-Girls Schools list, which forms part of the publication’s annual Schools Guide. The guide, regarded as an influential barometer of cricketing provision in the UK, assesses curriculum breadth, facilities, fixture schedules and coaching before selecting its leading performers. The 2026 edition is due to be released next month (December 2025).
Andy Bennett, director of sport at NHEHS, said: “We are thrilled to be recognised once again in this influential guide. Cricket holds a special place at Notting Hill and Ealing High School. Our first all-female team dates back to 1887 and the sport has remained central to school life ever since.”
Mr Bennett said the school had invested heavily in recent years to strengthen its cricket culture, working with local clubs and specialist coaches. The results, he said, were evident across age groups.
This year the school’s under-13 and under-15 teams reached the Middlesex semi-finals, with the younger side also progressing to the third round of the National Cup. Four pupils have been selected to travel to Dubai at Easter to represent the GDST London Schools team in the Root Dubai Cup.
Mr Bennett added: “This recognition is ultimately a testament to the dedication, skill and enthusiasm of our students.”
