A2Dominion brings Christmas cheer to residents

Housing association giant A2Dominion has raised £13,500 to support residents, including those in Ealing, who are facing financial pressure and isolation this festive season, by distributing hundreds of supermarket vouchers across London and the south of England.

Through its Christmas Gift project, the social housing provider has supported 659 residents including around 100 in Ealing with £20 supermarket vouchers to help ease the cost of food and other essentials at Christmas.

The vouchers are allocated following nominations from A2Dominion staffv who identified those most in need. Recipients can spend the vouchers in Tesco or Sainsbury’s  in whatever way best supports them over the festive period.

Julie Brooker, communities partner at A2Dominion, said: “We’re proud that our Christmas Gift Project has once again made a meaningful difference for many of our customers. Christmas can be a difficult time for some, and each voucher is a way of sharing joy and letting customers know they’re in our thoughts.”

One recipient said: “This will help me buy food and visit my elderly parents, whom I haven’t seen for many Christmases.”

The project was funded through contributions from partner organisations including Rose Properties, Just Ask, Social Tele and several contractors working with the association.
