A planning application has been submitted to Ealing Council to transform three office floors above Ealing Broadway shopping centre into 148 private rental homes.
The proposal, from W5 2025 Limited, sets out plans to redevelop International House at 7 High Street, Ealing W5 5DB into 148 apartments – comprising 65 two-bedroom units, 58 one-bedroom flats and 25 studios.

The company’s director is listed as Nicholas Treadaway, who is also the founding partner and chief executive of the Soller Group. The company is described as “involved in all stages of property development and investment cycle, from the identification of opportunities and delivery of new build and refurbishment projects through to exit.”
A public consultation on the application opened on 16 April 2025 and will run until 7 May 2025.
So far, just one comment has been submitted by a member of the public. They wrote: “While I support the provision of more housing, I believe it is an error to provide any parking to potential residents whether electric EV or not – current congestion levels with consequent delays for buses are not that infrequent currently and the provision of further parking in central Ealing will only exacerbate the problem.”
