Property developer Berkeley Group has unveiled the next phase of its multi billion-pound regeneration of Southall, with the launch of Quarter Yards — an 8.9-acre neighbourhood forming part of The Green Quarter, the company’s 88-acre flagship project.
Located next to Southall station, Quarter Yards will act as a new gateway to the Elizabeth line, connecting residents to Paddington in 13 minutes and Heathrow Airport in 10. The development aims to create a new town centre with 105,000 sq ft of space for shops, cafés, restaurants and flexible workspaces.
At the heart of the new phase is Brickfields, a collection of 59 studios and one, two and three-bedroom apartments inspired by Southall’s 19th-century brickmaking heritage. Construction is due to start in 2026, with the first homes completed in late 2027. Prices will start from £385,000.
Residents will have access to a botanical garden, two private cinemas, co-working lounges, a virtual golf suite, children’s playroom and a wellness area featuring a gym, pool, sauna and steam room.
Marcus Blake, managing director of St George PLC, said: “Quarter Yards marks the next chapter for The Green Quarter, introducing a beautifully designed collection of homes just moments from the Elizabeth line.”
