New staff uniforms for Ealing and Central Middlesex Hospitals

Staff at Ealing Hospital, Northwick Park and Central Middlesex – run by the London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust (LNWH) – are now wearing new-look uniforms designed to make it easier for staff and patients to identify one another.

Each uniform colour corresponds to a specific staff group, helping to identify different specialisms across the hospitals.

The colour groups include ruby and white for allied healthcare professionals, teal for healthcare science, blue for nursing and midwifery, black for heads of department and green for pharmacy. It marks the first time pharmacists at the trust have been required to wear a clinical uniform.

More than 5,000 of these new uniforms have been distributed across the three hospitals with each staff member getting three sets of uniforms as part of the trust-wide change.
