West Ealing’s The Forester pub was officially opened on Saturday (20 April 2024) by the Mayor of Ealing, Councillor Hitesh Tailor along with Ealing Central & Acton MP Dr Rupa Huq.
The Fullers managed pub, located on Leighton Road has been transformed with a reminder to its past. It has kept many original features including its famous Nowell Parr designed fireplace as well as showcasing a number of vintage furniture and other items that are now on display.

The first floor of the pub retains its private function room which has also been improved while the garden has been updated and offers a covered area. Outside the pub features new seating as well for pub-goers.
Food on offer is Thai Food cooked by Chef Nok and Sundays sees a carvery choice being available.
Harry Shotter, general manager of The Forester said: “It was great to have such fantastic support from both the Mayor and the local MP for our opening party. Who knew that MPs made such good DJs. I will definitely be inviting Rupa back to play again.”

Mr Shotter added: “It was a fantastic opportunity to welcome the local community into the pub and the feedback we’ve had has been really good. The Forester has something for everyone and at heart, we are a true community pub. I’m really excited about what the future has to hold.”
