Twenty-five parks and green spaces across Ealing have been awarded Green Flag status for 2026 as part of the annual UK-wide awards
They are among 2,391 sites across the UK recognised this year under the scheme, which is run by environmental charity Keep Britain Tidy and assesses green spaces against standards including management, maintenance, safety and accessibility.
The Green Flag Award scheme began 30 years ago with seven winning parks and has since expanded internationally, with more than 2,500 sites around the world.
The 25 Ealing winners are:

- Acton Park
- Blondin Park
- Bollo Brook Park
- Bramley Road Open Space
- Brent Lodge Park and Churchfields
- Elthorne Park
- Heathfield Gardens
- Islip Manor Park
- King George’s Playing Field (Poor’s Piece)
- Lammas Park
- Montpelier Park
- North Acton Playing Fields
- Northala Fields
- Perivale Park
- Pitshanger Park
- Ravenor Park
- Southall Manor House Grounds
- Southall Park
- Southfield Recreation Ground
- Spikesbridge Park
- Three Bridges Park
- Walpole Park
- Katherine Buchan Meadow
- Gunnersbury Park
Most of the winning sites are managed by Ealing Council. Katherine Buchan Meadow in Hanwell is managed by a community group, while Gunnersbury Park is jointly owned and managed by Ealing and Hounslow councils.
Councillor Lauren Wall, Ealing Council’s cabinet member for thriving communities, said: “We have beautiful parks and open spaces across the borough, and we’re delighted they have, once again, been recognised for how good they are. Our parks offer something for everyone, whether it’s going for a walk or a run, meeting friends, enjoying nature or giving children somewhere to play.
“As the school summer holidays begin, these award-winning spaces provide fantastic places for families to spend time together outdoors, for free, and make the most of the warmer weather. As well as thanking our parks team for working hard to maintain them, a huge ‘thank you’ must go to all the volunteers who dedicate their time to looking after their local parks too.”
