The University of West London opened its Ealing campus to the public last weekend as part of the annual Open House Festival.
Visitors were given student-led tours of the university’s St Mary’s Road campus on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2026.
The tours included UWL’s specialist laboratories, radio studio, flight simulator, Paul Hamlyn Library and Pillars fine dining training restaurant.
A display from the university’s archives also featured records charting the history of UWL and its predecessor institutions including Ealing Art College, which have provided teaching and professional education for more than 150 years.
Sara Raybould, deputy vice-chancellor at the University of West London, said: “We were delighted to open our doors as part of the Open House Festival and welcome visitors from across the local community.
“UWL’s campus has been part of West London for generations, and the event was a valuable opportunity to share our heritage, showcase our transformed campus and demonstrate the important role the University continues to play in the region.”
