An Acton primary school has been rated Outstanding by Ofsted once again — marking ten years at the top.
Ark Priory Primary Academy in Acton was inspected last month (3 and 4 June 2025), and inspectors have praised it across the board, awarding the school the highest possible rating in every category.
The two-form entry school, which opened in September 2013, was last inspected in 2015 — and has now officially maintained its Outstanding status for a full decade.
In their latest report, Ofsted said pupils “thrive in a nurturing, ambitious and inclusive environment where high expectations are the norm”.
Children at Ark Priory are “polite, respectful and highly motivated”, the report added, with a “genuine love of learning”. Inspectors said the behaviour of pupils in class and around school is “excellent” and that they “enjoy coming to school”.
Teachers were also singled out for praise, with Ofsted highlighting their “expert subject knowledge” and saying they “deliver new knowledge with clarity and enthusiasm”.
The school’s curriculum was described as “broad and ambitious”, with pupils making “exceptional progress” and achieving results “well above national averages in reading, writing and mathematics”.
Reading in particular was called a strength at the school, with younger children developing “a secure knowledge of phonics” and older ones benefiting from “an exceptional reading curriculum”.
The school’s support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) was also highlighted, with inspectors praising the “exceptional care and guidance” provided by “highly trained staff”.
Executive Principal Daniela Grasso said: “I’m thrilled that our hard work and commitment has been recognised by Ofsted again. Ark Priory is a warm, happy and safe place to learn and grow. We’re proud to be delivering such a high standard education to all our children.”
Ms Grasso added: “I’d like to thank our whole school community for their continued support.”
