A 20-year-old Southall man has been charged with murder following the fatal stabbing of 26-year-old Gurbhej Singh.

The Metropolitan Police said Navjot Singh, of Waxlow Crescent, Southall, has been charged with murder, grievous bodily harm with intent and possession of an offensive weapon.

He was arrested on suspicion of murder on 16 June and was due to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (18 June 2026).

Police were called to North Road, near the junction with Dormers Wells Lane, at 12.41am on 10 June 2026, following reports of a stabbing.

Officers and paramedics found two injured men at the scene. Gurbhej Singh died despite efforts to save him.

A second man, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital with injuries but has since been discharged.

Seven men aged between their early 20s and late 30s were initially arrested on suspicion of murder. Police said six have since been released with no further action, while a seventh remains on bail as enquiries continue.
