A 32-year-old man has been charged with murder following the 2025 fatal stabbing of Dariusz Serafin in Hanwell, the Metropolitan Police have said.
Officers were called at about 10.15pm on 10 February 2025 to the Grosvenor pub on Oaklands Road after reports that a man had stumbled into the premises with serious injuries.
Police attended alongside London Ambulance Service crews and found Mr Serafin, 33, suffering from knife wounds. Despite the efforts of paramedics, he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Homicide detectives from the Met’s Major Investigation Team carried out extensive enquiries over the following year.
On Monday (9 February 2026), detectives arrested Fayne Newman, 32, of Humes Avenue, Hanwell, on suspicion of murder. Police said he has since been charged with murder and is due to appear at Westminster magistrates court on Thursday (12 February 2026).
The Met said its investigation into Mr Serafin’s death remained ongoing and appealed for anyone with information to come forward.
