DPD driver robbed by masked gang in Hanwell

Police have appealed for CCTV footage after a DPD delivery driver was robbed in Hanwell on Valentine’s Day (14 February 2026)

PC Karim Panesar from the Metropolitan Police’s North Hanwell Safer Neighbourhood Team said the attack happened at about 11am on Saturday 14 February 2026 between Homefarm Road and Westcott Crescent.

Met Police said four males, described as wearing all black clothing and balaclavas, got out of a red hatchback car and approached the driver while he was making a delivery on Homefarm Road. The suspects forced the driver to hand over personal belongings and stole several postal items from the van.

They then returned to the hatchback and drove off. The vehicle was tracked along Homefarm Road towards Greenford Avenue, where it was lost from sight.

Police are asking residents on Homefarm Road, Westcott Crescent and nearby streets to check doorbell and private CCTV footage from around 11am to see whether it captured the vehicle, its number plate or the direction of travel.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Metropolitan Police on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
