A group of Ealing Young Champions from the Young Ealing Foundation are encouraging people of all ages to join them for a free fun day this Saturday (26 April 2025) from 12pm-3pm at Dean Gardens in West Ealing.
Billing themselves as ‘Generations United’, the group describes the event as “a special day bringing together young and old through fun, laughter, and shared experiences.” The day will feature food and refreshments, board games, painting and a scavenger hunt.
Through this event, the group hopes to bring people of all ages together from across the borough.
EALING.NEWS spoke to three of the young people involved in the coordination of the event, Malida, Shiya and Sabah.
Speaking about the fun day, Malida said: “People yearn for a sense of community – we will provide it.”
Shiya told us: “Our mission is to bring the generations together, give back to our community and promote inclusion.”
Sabah added: “I am doing this because I feel it is necessary to provide opportunities to the youth. This means a lot to me as it is our youth that makes our future.”
